Browser Choice Screen for Europe

Microsoft has finally the option to install a browser of their choice through the 'Browser Choice Screen'. The change was certainly needed with rapidly increasing bugs and security issues in the Internet Explorer (IE). Although Microsoft say that such issues only affected IE6 and older versions, people are now more sceptical than ever following the latest scare where thousands of passwords were obtained by hackers.

The latest change will be step to remove the monopolistic effect of Microsoft in the web browser market. Mozilla's Firefox (a personal favourite of mine), which is being used by 32% of the world's population (38% in Europe), will look to significantly increase their share in the market. We shall wait and see the effect of having a brower choice screen in Europe.

PS. This is my very first blog, so any feedback is welcome.
